NATHANIEL LANGFORD CURRIE

Dr. Nathaniel Langford Currie is passionate about social work, HIV/AIDS education and social justice. He works as an assistant professor at Clark Atlanta University’s Whitney Young Junior School of Social Work, where he’s developing a trauma informed care certificate program for graduate students. An expert in queer studies, he’s at the forefront of delivering keynote speeches on the intersection of DEI and social justice for people in the LGBTQ+ community. Earlier this year, Currie announced via LinkedIn that he had signed with Cambridge University Press for a forthcoming book, Decolonized Clinical Supervision and Leadership: A Social Work Perspective; it will be published next August. —K.M.
