ANTHONY WAYNE

Multi-talented performance artist Anthony Wayne is doing exactly what he’s always wanted to do as a performer on Broadway. The Norfolk, VA born triple threat has been seen on the Broadway stage in Anything Goes, Pippin', and most recently Tina: The Tina Turner Musical. This year, Wayne took the show on road making star turns in the Fats Waller musical Ain't Misbehavin' and Mary Poppins, the musical.  Wayne is currently working on bringing his show Mighty Real: A Fabulous Sylvester Musical to Broadway. As the founder of Black Broadway Men (BBM), he spearheads the effort of maintaining an exclusive safer space for Black men in theatre to find common thread of multi-generational education and brotherhood. Wayne is a class act on and off the stage. —KM
